"Recovery Road" - A New Message Series by Pastor Mark Campbell

If you are like most Americans, you're wondering what's going on in Washington. Unemployment is up. Stocks are down. And everybody's pointing fingers. And you're probably wondering what you're supposed to do while you wait for somebody to fix things. What if we don't wait around for somebody else? Well here's an idea. What if we go ahead and start fixing it ourselves? What if "We the People" tried to get this country on the road to recovery? Sound like a good idea? Then you're ready for Recovery Road.

FELLOWSHIP TRAVELER NEWS - Monday, Jan. 23 - Would you like to take a trip with us through Italy and Germany to OBERAMMERGAU, and see the famous passion play? This play had its beginning in the Middle Ages when villagers vowed that if God would protect them from the bubonic plague then sweeping the region, they wold tell the story of Jesus forever. And they have, every decade since 1634 (it was interrupted during World War II). In 2010, over 2,000 villagers brought the story of Jesus to life for the audiences that flocked in from around the world. Our journey, via film narrated by Stan Walsh, begins in Rome. It is a joyful, spiritual road trip via Assisi, Florence, Pisa, Venice, Lucerne and Munich to Oberammergau. We will also learn the inside story of this famous village. Join us Monday, Jan. 23 for dinner at 5:30 p.m. ("on your own" at Hof's Hut), followed by a short trip to El Camino College for this Discovery Series presentation at 7:30 p.m. Tickets $7 (Seniors $6), parking $2.
